It’s like I’m driving on an endless highway.

You are not convinced whether your scroll down comes from your interest in it or just the feeling of duty, or a habitual repetitions that you've learned for a long time.

You don't know yet if this text is relevant to you. Your eyes are busy telling if it is worth investing time in or not. Meanwhile, you're placing your hand on the mouse or a mobile screen. Your body is attached to the object and you haven't left my text yet. Which decision will you make? Scroll down to read something that you don't even know? or just close this window? You're letting yourself go straight down as you're accustomed to it. You navigate your fingers through this area. Wait, no it's maybe that your fingers navigate you. At this moment you might question if you still would like to read it or not. Maybe you're not fully sure about what you think. You are not convinced whether your scroll down comes from your interest in it or just the feeling of duty, or a habitual repetitions that you've learned. The road where you stand now is still spread linear. You can just move straight, which is easy. But is your mind also as easy and flat as it is? It'd make it hard for you to stay sharp. But anyways you're just reading it. As you sense, this text doesn't really say things. Now you would think you'll exit this page soon. It seems like you're thinking... You're thinking what you think about. You're feeling what you're trying to think. But your feeling is not easy to grab. You may try to stay conscious of who and where you are now. You don't want to lose yourself on the linear highway. So far you've read 266 words. By now you might be a bit tired. To be honest I'm also getting tired. I wanted to pinpoint something specific in this text but now I'm not that keen anymore. But does it really matter? Anyways we were supposed to move down. Scrolling down, it's such a simple and natural thing to do in the screen. But it might be a simplified thing out of a complex reality. Not a simple thing. The way we move is linear and speedy. In fact, we don't have many options. A scrolling bar at the right side keeps implying that there’s a lot of hidden (tempting?) contents further down. Leading myself bottom is a ‘must thing to do’, rather than ‘what I want to do’. It’s like I’m driving on an endless highway. It doesn’t have obstacles but weirdly I’m getting oblivious of things. This navigation system is so-called ‘intuitively’ designed, but then... are we sure if this is completely from our intuition and choice? What do you think? How do you feel while scrolling down in the world of the digital screen? Let me know if you want to share your thoughts. If you lost yourself while reading this text, I hope you will get yourself back again soon, because you don't have to scroll down anymore. Ciao.
